When we founded JAM Interiors in 2006, our plan was to create a family-run company that specialises in excellence and perfect interior design.

Our ethos hasn’t changed. Our task is still to deliver the highest level of design, practicality and service. We’re proud of our reputation for getting it right, the first time, every time.

The interiors we create are not intended to be showroom spaces. Instead, they are coherent, considered and versatile, designed to create interest, bring joy, offer comfort, be unique and, ultimately, to be lived in.

We have had the pleasure of working with clients across the country, including London, the Home Counties, Devon, Cornwall and more.

With our extensive experience, we relish the more complex areas of interior design such as kitchen and bathroom design, bespoke joinery, floor finishes, lighting design and home automation. We also take care of all the elements you would expect from an interior design practice: colour schemes, window treatments, furniture, soft furnishings, and natural stone floors from our sister company, Devon Stone.

Our dedication to quality means we manufacture all our soft furnishings in-house at our craft workshop in Devon. And our clients benefit from our relationships with world-class suppliers and artisan tradespeople, giving unique access to the highest quality products.

After a career in the textile industry took him all over the world, Matt returned to Britain to head up Marketing and Product Development for the Silent Gliss UK market. A successful stint at the Swiss firm saw Matt build the product range, including collections with Kelly Hoppen, turning Silent Gliss into a retail-focused brand. A period in Amsterdam followed. Matt ran Silent Gliss’ operations in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg and gained a love for continental contemporary design. Matt’s passions for textiles and design culminated in 2006, when he returned to Devon and founded JAM Interiors.

Jose’s early career was spent traversing the globe as a senior project manager for BP Amoco, Pfizer, Defra and Thames Water. A desire to focus on family life led to Jose’s move into the natural stone arena, where he managed large scale projects for Stonequard. Jose soon developed the love for stone that saw him set up Devon Stone with his late wife Amy, Matt’s sister. Synonymous with quality and design, Devon Stone has been part of the JAM Interiors group since 2010.
